Zayne's POV I told her I trusted her. That didn’t mean I was stupid enough to let her walk into hell alone. I followed Aurora from three blocks back, staying downwind, every instinct screaming at me to grab her hand and drag her somewhere safe. She moved with purpose, her shoulders straight, her steps steady. No hesitation. No fear. It terrified me.
