Chapter 13

As I walked into the kitchen I saw Blaze, Mom, Dad, and Yogi sitting at the table talking. “What yall talking about?” I asked as I sat next to Blaze. “ We are getting ready to get stuff set up for when Zane gets here”, yogi replied. “ What can I do?” I asked. Yogi looked down at the notebook and was putting her hair up in a bun. “ You can go get the welcome home cake and extra cupcakes. Blaze, I need you and dad to hang the decorations. Mom and I will work on the other food. Sounds good?” she said with a serious tone. “OK” we all said together and headed out the kitchen. I kissed Blaze and headed to the car to go to the bakery. When I got a mind link from Alpha, “ Maggie and Blaze come to my office now we need to talk”. “OK, I will be right there”, I said, and headed back in.

As we walked into the office I saw Alpha Mike sitting at his desk. “ What's going on?” Blaze asked worriedly. “ I heard back from the elders, and they think they know why y'all are having these visions,” he replied with a worried look on his face. “ What did they say?” Blaze asked as we sat. “ Well it's not good.” Alpha said. “ Just tell me” I yelled, not meaning to. “ Ok, the elders told me they found something in the writings. Around the time of the first wolves, there were 3 sisters, and they all had different visions. Legend says they were meant to stop the war between the packs with their visions, and they were known as The Trifold Oracle. But they could not understand what the visions were in time and all was lost, which is how the Lycan king came to power. The only thing the elders know is that if we can't figure out these visions and what they mean, or who was behind all this? All the packs one by one will fall. They also found out we have to keep you girls together. You cannot be far apart for long. Or you will slowly go weaker, your powers will fade and you will lose your visions. You could even die.” Alpha Mike took a deep breath, and we all just looked at each other. “ So what do we do then?” I asked. “Well, I thought we needed to have a meeting with all three of you girls and mates, and we can go from there.” Alpha said and we all nodded. “ I will set it up after the welcome home party for Zane, and we will go from there,” Blaze said as we stood to head out of the office.

“Don't worry, we will figure this out,” Alpha Mike said as we walked out the door. “ Well, I need to head and get the cake and stuff. I will be back soon "I told Blaze and gave him a kiss. “ Ok, be safe and call if you need me. Our link won't work that far.” Blaze told me as I was walking to the door. “OK I will, I love you”. I told him “ I love you too”, he said back with a big smile. I walked outside and was heading to the car when I got a link from Yogi. “ Have you got the cake and cupcakes yet?” she asked. “ No, I am heading there now don't worry,” I told her. “Well you need to hurry, we only have a few hours before his plane lands and Blaze has to get him” she complained “ I know “ I said. I was starting to get irritated with her rushing me, but what's a big sister for? I got in my car and started for the bakery. It only took about 10 minutes to get there. I went in and asked the baker about the cake and stuff. She came back with a cake and 5 boxes of cupcakes and there were 30 per box. “ Do you think I could get a little help?” I said, laughing “ sure I will help you” she said, and grabbed a few boxes while her son helped with the others and I had the cake.

As I was driving back, I saw 2 little kids standing on the side of the road. It looked like 2 little girl about 5 or 6 years old. I pulled over and got out of the car. As I was walking over to them, I yelled “ Hey are you OK?” I asked, but no answer. They just stared at me. As I got closer, I could tell they were dirty and had rips in their clothes. They both had dirty blonde hair. They looked so small in the clothes they had on. I was worried they were injured or something. As I got closer to them, I was about 6 ft from them. They just started running into the field. I started after them and ran like forever. I could see them right in front of me. Then out of nowhere they were gone. I had made it to the other side of the field, and they were nowhere in site. There was a small pond right in front of me and on the other side I could see the big black wolf with the children, one on each side of him. They just watched me for a while and then the kids got on his back and they ran off. I freaked out and ran back to my car. When I got there, I saw another car had pulled up behind mine and as I walked up I saw my dad looking into my car. “ Where have you been? It took you too long and your mom got worried”, he told me. I told him what happened. “ Why would you run after 2 kids when you don't know if it was a trap or not. You need to use your head. I don't want to lose you” he said, kinda yelling. “I know, but they were so small, and I was worried about them”, I told him.

“Well, let's head home before Blaze freaks out because you aren't back yet” dad said and headed to his car. I walked to mine and got in. i sat there as dad drove away, and I pulled out behind him. I was thinking about the black wolf and the 2 kids. Was it another vision? Or was it real? There were a lot of questions I needed to answer. I will have to talk to alpha after the party.
