Chapter 12

We trained for a few hours, then took a break for lunch. “ You did great today honey” mom told me as we walked back to the pack house. “ Thanks mom,” I said. As we walked into the pack house, I saw Blaze and Alpha Mike talking in the living room. We walked in, and I went to sit next to Blaze and he grabbed me and pulled me into his lap, wrapped his arms around me and inhaled. “ What's wrong?” I asked him “ Nothing just stressed about the meeting with the elders” he told me “ It will be OK, we will handle anything they tell us” I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I kissed him and he kissed me back. As the kiss deepened, we heard someone cough next to us. “ Oh yeah sorry Alpha Mike” I said laughing. We talked for a few minutes, then an omega came in and told us dinner was ready. We all walked into the dining room and took our seats at the table. Mom, dad and yogi came over for dinner and a movie after just to hang out and spend time together. As we ate dinner, Blaze's phone rang.

“Hello” he said

“Hey, bud nice to hear from you. Hold on I will put it on speaker. I am here with mom, dad and my mate” then he hit the speaker button and we all heard

“What the f***, you found your mate and never told me a**hole” the person on the phone said jokingly.

“ Hey Zane, you're on speaker now” Blaze said laughing. Everyone started laughing. “Hey Zane, we miss you and can't wait for you to get home” Alpha Mike said.

“ So who is your mate? Do I know her?” Zane asked.

“ Yes, we grew up together and she just turned 18. That's why I could not sense her till now” Blaze said, smiling at me.

“ Well that, doesn't help me, who is she?” Zane asked again.

“ You will just have to wait and see cuz you will love her. I know I already do” Blaze said as he looked at me. I smiled as I reached over and took his hand.

“ So I called to tell ya'll some good news” Zane said and Blaze looked over at his father.

“ Oh yeah what's that?” Alpha Mike asked

“ I will be home in 2 days and not a week.'' Zane told us.

'' That is great. We can't wait for you to be home” Alpha Mike told him.

“ Yeah, any luck on finding your mate” Blaze asked him.

“ No, not yet but I am still looking,” Zane replied.

“ Hey when you get home we can have a party and see if your mate is in the pack. Since you have been going for a few years, maybe she is here. If not we will find her.” Blaze told Zane.

“OK sounds good cuz, but I have to go. It's dinner time here”, Zane told us.

“OK, talk to you soon, text me and let me know the day and time you will be home” Blaze told him.

“Will do cuz later” Zane said.

“ Later” Blaze replied, then hung up the phone.

We all sat and ate dinner. It was amazing like always. We talked about what to do for Zanes' party when he got home and decided it was going to be a surprise party and we will have everything ready for when he gets here. Just then Blaze's phone pinged. “ Zane says he will have his last day tomorrow and then catch a plane the next morning and will land around noon.” Blaze told us. “ Ok then that gives us tomorrow to get everything ready and in place for him when he arrives.” Yogi sat with excitement in her voice. Yogi has always had a crush on Zane. They dated in middle school for a while but then broke up because Zane wanted to find his mate and didn't want to be in a relationship when he did. He didn't want anyone getting hurt, so he called it off before they got too attached. “OK well enough for tonight, let's go watch a movie” mom said and we all walked into the den. “ What should we watch?” Yogi asked as she walked over to the movie " anything beside Avatar” mom said. Everyone started laughing “Hey it's a good movie”, I said in protest. “OK how about we watch Ready Player One, that's a great movie” Yogi said as she grabbed the move. “OK “ we all said together. Yogi got up and put the movie in. As we watched the movie I cuddled up to blaze and he had his arm around me. I guess I fell asleep because next thing I knew I was in Blaze's arms as he carried me upstairs. I snuggled up to him and fell back asleep.

I woke the next morning. It was still kinda dark in my room with just a little bit of light coming in through the windows. I looked over and Blaze was already gone. I looked around as I sat there waking up. I never really looked at the room. It was big, about 3 times bigger than my old room. Our bed was against the back wall, right in the middle. The walls were dark red and the base boards were dark brown. I will have to talk to Blaze about adding lighter colors in here, its way to dark. We had hard wood floors and I loved it. There was a huge bathroom with his and her sinks. I walked over and got out my tooth brush to brush my teeth. After I finished brushing, I went to the closet to get some clothes. Hmm, what to wear, I thought. I felt like a sundress today. So I grabbed a pretty light pink dress with pink roses all over. And a pair of heels to go with it. After I dressed, I headed downstairs to see if Blaze was in the kitchen.
