Chapter 1.5: A prediction?
I am Rayford, I am 2 years old and my parents' names are Clara who is my mother and Eric who is my father. It seems that my parents are taking me outside, "I can't wait!" is what I screamed in my mind since I haven't seen the outside world yet. After a couple of seconds of my parents walking to get to the door, they opened the door slowly, "I see, they're trying to surprise me." is what I said in my mind, and then when they opened it… I got very fascinated by the scenery outside, it was full of flowers and grass, a relaxing fresh air, a bright sun and villagers! The scenery was very beautiful. I got very fascinated by the view that 5 minutes had passed.
A person was coming towards us waving, I guess he's our neighbor or maybe not.
"Hey! Long time no see, Clara and Eric!" said ???.
"long time no see, Flint." said Clara, my mother.
"So what are you doing here?" said Eric, my father.
I see, so they're old friends, but my father doesn't look so happy, more like he's upset.
"Oh nothing' just heard that you guys got a kid and came to congratulate you." said Flint.
"And? I've known you for a long time so I'm sure that you came here for something else." said Eric, my father.
"So I got busted, huh… Just kidding, I know that I'm gonna get busted so I'll just get straight to the point, I just came to warn you that in the next 8 years something horrible will happen in this village." said Flint.
"What do you mean by that? Hey Flint!" said Eric, my father.
"Bye now!" said Flint.
"Do you think he's kidding?" said Eric, my father.
"I don't know, but all the things that he predicted came true, so let's just prepare for the next 8 years." said Clara, my mother.
"I guess there's no point in worrying now, since it's the next 8 years so we have a lot of time." said Eric, my father.
In the incoming 8 years something bad will happen, huh… I'll be 10 years old by then, but what does he mean by "something bad", are there going to be monsters or demons attacking? maybe my father's right, there's no point in worrying for now since we still have a lot of time.
