ECHOES OF THE PAST Glande's POV By the time I got home that evening, my head was pounding. The office had been busy enough to keep my hands occupied, but not my mind. Some thoughts simply refused to leave. I unlocked the apartment door and stepped inside. "Mummy!" Liam ran toward me as usual, wrapping his little arms around my waist.
