AN UNWANTED REUNION
Alex's POV
The familiar iron gates of the Dallas Mansion slowly opened as my car rolled onto the estate.
The mansion was brighter than usual.
Every light seemed to be on.
Samuel must have made sure everything was perfect for Vivienne's arrival.
The driver pulled to a stop beneath the grand entrance.
"I'll wait here, Mr. Dallas."
I nodded before stepping out.
The cool night breeze brushed against my face as I adjusted my suit jacket.
Before I could reach the front door, it opened.
Samuel greeted me with his usual warm smile.
"Welcome home, Mr. Dallas."
"It's good to see you, Samuel."
"And you as well, sir."
He accepted my jacket.
"Mrs. Dallas and Miss Vivienne are waiting in the dining room."
I gave a small nod.
"Thank you."
