Heidi was quite upset with Michael's, response. Even though she knew where he was coming from, she still was not pleased with how she felt dismissed unto utter insanity. When in fact, she just could not prove what she knew to be accurate, due to the subtlety of how these acts were being carried out upon her. I mean how would she go about not looking crazy, especially since her mental health, was fragile in times past. This was something all together different, devious in fact. Ok so if she had to make a doctors appointment, there are worse things to be had. Possibly, getting in to see the doctor would be good for her, she was under a lot of stress, and maybe the doctor would believe her that she not having a psychotic episode. She had scheduled an upcoming appointment with Dr Stein to be seen within the next few days. She had been unwinding, and feeling a tad bit better about everything when she heard a young woman's voice, come in hastily over the two way. "Help us Heidi, please help us, we don't even know who we are anymore, we just know we need your help." the woman's voice pleaded. Oh my Lord, thought Heidi, this is too much, what am I supposed to do? She asked. She took a pair of binoculars and looked out towards the old Grant home, lights on every floor, again, the blinds drawn so tight she couldn't see a thing. Everything inside of her said that whoever is in need of help; is most likely over at the Grant place. She didn't even think about what she did next, she just acted. "911 what's your emergency? "Yes, hello, I'm calling about suspicious activities, with a female asking for help.", " the address is 1456 Spruce Lane," Heidi told the dispatcher. "Ok ma'am are you a resident of this address," the dispatcher asked Heidi. "No I am a neighbor, and I heard a woman's voice asking me for help,I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that house though, can you please send someone over to do a well check on everyone in that house, and look to see that there are not others being held there against their will." Heidi added. "Ok ma'am, what is your address, we will send an officer over to speak with you," the dispatcher said. "Ok you can send someone to also come speak with me, 1274 Fern Lane, but I'm telling you that their are people inside of the house in Spruce Lane, the old Grant house, please also send someone to check that out." Heidi pleaded. "Ok ma'am, we are sending someone over to speak with you. At that moment the dispatcher disconnected the call. s**t, thought Heidi, she really did not want an officer coming to speak with her, she wanted an officer to be sent over to check up on the old Grant place. Now, she must prepare herself to speak with, the cop, she already had an inkling of how this might go. Whatever, happened to calling 911, and them sending out to wherever the emergency was said to be at? Heidi wondered, she had thought there was something called remaining anonymous. She also really did not feel like explaining to Michael, who was already worried, about why she would be speaking with the police. Oh boy, please don't let this go bad, please let these cops be of help. Heidi already had a feeling this wasn't going to go well, in that she would only make herself look crazier. As she ran down the stairs, she already saw Michael looking out the front room window. "Why the hell, is there a police car pulling into the driveway?" Michael asked sternly. "What the hell is going on now," Michael asked Heidi in an annoyed tone. "I called 911 to go check on the old Grant house, I didn't think they would want to send an officer over, I thought I could remain anonymous. Heidi replied. "You thought you could remain anonymous, while you call on the neighbors, for what, why do the cops gotta check on the neighbors, you don't think that they themselves would call if they needed the cops, now you making random reports," Michael frustrated stated. Ding dong, knock, knock knock, knock pounded sternly on the front door. "You better hope you don't get into trouble for any sort of false reporting.", Michael quietly said before Heidi opened up the door. " Yes ma'am you reported you had an emergency earlier," the young crew cutted police officer said, as she stepped to speak with the police. " Well the emergency isn t necessarily here, at this address, I reported it for 1456 Spruce Lane. "I had asked if an officer could go check things out over there, since I had heard a woman's voice asking me for help." " Why did you have to call, why doesn't the woman asking for help call emergency?" the police officer asked Heidi. "Well you see, I don't know if she had a phone, I heard her asking for help, coming through some sort of speaking device, where I can hear them, and they can hear me inside of my house.", " I just feel there has been a lot of suspicious things occuring over there, like a young man I haven't seen before, always lurking around near another elderly man that has been spotted lurking near my dogwood tree, and a woman in a wheelchair that may be asking for help." Heidi quickly added. "I would like to file a trespassing report of this." "Ok, ma'am, we are going to speak with your husband for a few minutes, then if need be, we can take your report." The police officer stated to Heidi. Heidi could already hear the sounds of the one cop speaking with Michael. He had asked Michael, if he also noted any one he saw on or near the property, in which he replied, no he has not. There was low sounding whispering, muffled tones she could not really make out. In the next couple minutes after that, the police as well as Michael, came out to talk with Heidi, the look on Michael's face seemed grim. "Yes ma'am, what we are going to do, being; that your husband has stated how concerned he has been lately, with your mental health, is we are gonna go ahead with the permission of your husband, and have you checked out at the hospital.", " Now you can either voluntarily have the hospital check you out, or we can go ahead and 302 you in order for you to get checked, but right now ma'am, your well being is the ultimate concern, so we will not be proceeding with any reports for trespassing at this time.", the police informed her. "Wait a minute, wait a minute, you can't do this, your making a mistake, honestly,I know it may sound crazy but you gotta believe me, I am being harassed and my privacy has been invaded, and now you expect me to go away for how many days!" Heidi said raising her tone with anxiety setting in. "Ma'am, we don't wanna have to cuff you to take you to the hospital, but if you proceed to resist, we will have no choice.
