Humiliation (part one)

Ana Maria diary I didn't want to go to work at the hotel. I could barely pull my legs, to walk over there, as Bianca was dragging me. I begged her not to, but she said that we needed the money, to survive. She says that no one else would hire me and that I should have been grateful. She also said that she would kick me out of my home if I refused. To many people to feed, and I was being a burden. I tried to reason with my mind, that it was a descend job, after all, to put food on the table. But my heart and my soul were telling me not to. Silently, I prayed wholeheartedly to God, to protect me from whatever evil, that was coming towards me. I could sense that something was terribly wrong, and I was so powerless against it. If I would go back to that particular night, I would have simply killed myself, even though this goes against my beliefs and faith. I don't think I would ever be able to experience such deep pain and humiliation, without completely losing my mind. Recalling those memories it shutters my heart and my soul, every single time. That night... I was abounded, betrayed, raped, humiliated, and sold. That was the welcoming in hell... The darkness, the pain, the fear, and the loneliness I felt, it was excruciating. He.... all of them... took everything from me! The only thing I got left was my faith, even though since that night, I started questioning that even God had in fact abounded me also... .......................... third pov Like every other night, the hotel downtown was packed with men, gambling, and drinking. The place had a terrible reputation in town, as a place of sin and prostitution. The same men who would spend the night there was the one to condemn it the harder. Even though the conservative people of the town, had requested many time for the hotel to be closed, that request was never taken seriously. For that reason, the conservative women made sure to avoid that place, at all costs. And they warned their daughters to stay away also. because their reputations could be ruined pretty quickly, in a town when rumors spread like the wind. And so would their chances of marriage. Ana Maria knew that, and even Bianca had warned her so many times to not even get near that place. But now, she was the one dragging her there, holding her hand so tight, it was hurting her. "Bianca, please... Please... I promise, I will find another job. You know I have always worked very hard. Don't make me do this. People are already so rude to me... Please, don't make me go there" - Ana Maria sobbed "We need the money, Ana. Who else will hire you, after that scandal?" - Bianca replied rolling her eyes "Please... I beg you... I'll do anything else, but that... Beside why should I work at the night shift? Please, just let's go home" - Ana Maria finally managed to pull her hand from her, taking two steps back. "Listen here, you ungrateful brat! I am the one who had stop your father from kicking you out of the home! I gave you a shelter, but I am not able to feed you all forever! I have gone far and beyond to keep you save, but enough it's enough" - Bianca shouted angry at her. Realizing she was in the street and people may listen to their conversations, she lowered her voice, but her voice was still venomous "Stop acting up, and do as I say. It's for the better" "How can it be for the better? I don't want to work there! I can't! I can't deal with the people of this town anymore" - her lower lips trembled, as she tried to reason with her stepmother. "It's a descend job! You will earn a lot of money, and one day you will be grateful" "Please! Please! I don't want to! I have a bad feeling about this" "Your feelings are not going to pay for our food Ana. Neither for your sister medicine. You know your father is drunk all the time, and no help at all! I can't keep the burden of the family anymore' - Bianca voice suddenly softened, pretending to be crying "I promise, I will find another...." "When you find a better job, you'll drop this. But for now, you will go there! Or else I will not prevent your father anymore, from kicking you out of the house" - Bianca replied in a firm voice, and grabbed her hand again, forcing her to walk with her. ........................... Ana Maria pov My hand were shaking, and my heart was pounding hard inside my chest. I felt numb. I try to calm down myself, but I knew in my core, that evil had surrounded me. I felt so trapped, and paralised of fear. At the back entrance of the hotel, Bianka told me to wait, as she talked with a man at the door. I couldn't listen to what they were saying, but he gave her what seemed a lot of money. Bianca smiled, she was always happy when she had money, which wansn't very common. At least, at my paycheck day, she always treated me nice. "You will be over in just an hour or two. I'll be waiting outside, for you" - she said smiling, at me, patting my shoulder. "Maybe, there are a lot of rooms to clean and stuff. Please, don't leave without me" - I begged her "Don't worry, everything will be okay. This is for everybody's good. God's now we need the money" - she replied to me, and I wasn't sure if I fully understood her "I'll wait for you" ................. James pov Bianca was probably the most annoying and obnoxious person I have ever met, and I couldn't wait to get rid of her. The only time, I saw her smiling was when I gave her the payment for the night. She even gave me a big smile, which made her even more disgusting in my eyes. Just like the rest of the people of this town, she was a hypocrite. "Come! I don't have all night! " - the girl was talking with her mother, and it was talking a hell long of a time, I lost patience. "I am coming sir" - she said with hesitation. Moving out from the shadows of the darkness, to the light of the hotel hallway, I finally saw her. I was strucked by the girl's beauty. Never, ever had I seen a more perfect creature. Her milky skin was so smooth, her features were so delicate, green deep eyes and plump lips. Her long blonde hair looked so soft, I wanted to touch it. She looked like she had just stepped out of a fairytale's land or something, no wonder men were all over her. Even Liam was obsessed. The energy she radiated was captivating, even I was lost for words. "Whenever you are ready, sir" - she said to me. Damn it, I must have stared at her for too long "Follow me" - I pulled myself together, and gestured her to come inside. "Won't I need instructions first, sir? What should and shouldn't I do? Or even tools..." "Your mother told me this wasn't your first time, doing this kind of job. So, I'll trust your expertise" - I cut her short, I wasn't really in the mood tonight. Beside the effect this little b***h had in people, including myself annoyed me so much, I couldn't even understand why. " Thank you sir, for giving me this job. My family really needs the income right now! God bless you!" - she said suddenly, leaving me stunned. Was she really mentioning God and her family right now? I turned around, staring at with disgust, but she kept keeping a mask of innocence, and had the audiciaty to look scared and confused! "I wonder if hypocrisy is contagious in this place!" - my voice as cold as ice, I couldn't stand her anymore. Whatever was coming for her, she sure deserves it. "Huh?" "Come! We almost there" ............................ third POV "Come! We almost there! - James said in a icy tone, gesturing Ana Maria to follow him. This time she did so in silence, she hated the way, the man was treating her and felt humiliated. "I am doing this for my family, I doing this for my family! I have no where to go!" - she repeated in her head, trying to reason with herself, and once again she prayed mentally, for divine protection. When they finally arrived in the third floor, James used a key to open the door of a room. "Here " - he said, gesturing her to enter inside. Ana Maria looked at the luxurious room, which was kind of dark. "It looks clean, but...." "He will be here in no time" - James said coldly, ignoring her "Who?" - Ana Maria asked confused, frowning her brows. But this time, James didn't even bother to explain, and closed the door behind her. "Sir? Sir?" - Ana Maria lowered the handle, but to her horror she realised he had locked her in. "Open the door, open the door! I don't want to be here" - she yelled, but no one was listening.
