"I agree," Ethan said, his eyes fixed on the artifact. "Let's try to scan it, see if we can learn more about it before we decide what to do."

Ava nodded, pulling out a device from her pack. "I'll try to run some tests, see if I can get a reading on its energy signature."

As Ava worked, the group watched in anticipation. After a few moments, Ava looked up, her expression thoughtful.

Sophia frowned. "I don't think we should touch it. We don't know what kind of risks it poses."

Liam nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's be cautious. We can always come back to it later if we need to."
