The sound of my phone ringing startled us, making us jump and run towards the damn pregnancy test.
My hands trembled as I turned it over.
"I don't want to see!" I handed it to Maryse, looking away.
Her gasp made me sink to the floor, leaning against the bed.

She nodded and grabbed her purse while helping me up.
