LIGHT AND SHADOW

THE PORTAL

In the beginning, Light and Shadow existed in separate realms, unaware of each other's presence.

Light dwelled in the Radiant Kingdom, a land of eternal sunshine, where warmth and illumination filled every corner. Light was a curious and adventurous being, always seeking to expand its reach and brighten the lives of others.

Shadow, on the other hand, resided in the Umbra Realm, a mysterious domain of DARKness and silence. Shadow was a introspective and creative entity, finding solace in the quiet depths of its own world.

One day, a cosmic event known as the Great Convergence occurred, a shimmering portal appeared at the edge of the Radiant Kingdom, pulsing with other worldly energy. Light, curious and adventurous, felt an irresistible pull towards the portal. Without hesitation, Light stepped through the shimmering gateway and found itself in a realm unlike any it had ever known.

Meanwhile, in the Umbra Realm, Shadow sensed a disturbance in the silence. A faint glow beckoned from the threshold of its world, and Shadow felt an inexplicable draw towards the light. With cautious curiosity, Shadow approached the portal and crossed into the unknown.

Light and Shadow found themselves drawn to the threshold of their respective worlds, where they encountered each other for the first time.

Initially, they were perplexed by their differences as if gazing into a mirror reflecting an unfamiliar self.

Light saw Shadow as a void, an absence of radiance, while Shadow perceived Light as a blinding force, overwhelming and intense and recoiled from its brilliance.

Yet, as they stood there, frozen in mutual curiosity, something remarkable happened. Light began to see the depth and mystery within Shadow's darkness, like an unexplored ocean waiting to be discovered. Shadow, too, discovered the warmth and life-giving power within Light's radiance, like a gentle flame that ignited a sense of wonder.

What was this they felt, Was it love and would it be evitable?

THE INEVITABLE, EVITABLE

The force they felt, they weren't drawn to the portal, they were drawn to each other and till this Convergence none of them knew of loneliness, none of them knew of longing.

Together, they would dance in an external embrace, their love oscillating between brilliance and subtlety. In each other's arms they would find perfect harmony, as Light's warmth would soften Shadow's darkness, and Shadow's mystery would enrich Light's splendor

OR SO THEY THOUGHT.

Light, unaware of the consequences, shines brightly, trying to envelop Shadow in its warmth. But with every tender touch, Shadow begins to fade away, disappearing into nothingness.

Shadow, desperate to preserve their love, tries to retreat to the darkest corners, hoping to escape Light's radiant grasp. Yet, Light, driven by its innate desire to illuminate, pursues Shadow, unknowingly destroying the very essence of its beloved.

Their love becomes a heart-wrenching paradox, the more Light loves Shadow, the more it destroys it. The more Shadow tries to survive, the more it must flee from Light's loving embrace.

They both retreat back to their realms, pondering on a way to be together.

Can Light find a way to dim its radiance, or will Shadow forever be lost in the darkness?

ILLUMINATION

Light trying extremely hard to think of a solution shines even brighter and without realizing it the Portal tears the whole barrier exposing Dark to Light, the two worlds, the Radiant Kingdom and the Umbra Realm becoming one but Light still dominating n Dark fleeing to the corner clinging onto the little existence. As much as Light wants to embrace Dark it has to retreat, unfortunately it can't control its divine rays and slowly Dark fades into the nothingness it is. Dark is gone, completely eliminated.The bitter taste of loneliness filled Light's essence, a longing for connection, a feeling Light never knew until Dark.

Light is left sad, feeling a void, an absence of radiance, feeling dark inside.

Light suddenly starts dimming n beaming uncontrollably as she slowly descends to the ground, not knowing what to do with how it feels and there as it lands it sees something behind a pecan tree, it's Shadow

PINING

Exhilarated, Light tries to follow Shadow but she runs away, Light tries to see Shadow from above but she disappears. Light trying to dim itself once again, resorts to distancing itself and behind the towering mountain it finds refuge. Light is in awe, unable to fathom or grasp what is In front of him,

His love didn't completely perish after all.

Shadow was just out of reach, too far yet so close. They could only see each other but could not embrace, only loving and yearning from a distance, behind an obstacle. Shadow could not defy her position and run to Light. Despite the distance, Light was happy and felt warm I grewnside, it saddened him to illuminate the sadness and darkness he felt inside for it felt like getting rid of his lover once again, but happiness took over for his beloved was still in existence.

Light makes a sacrifice for his lover, although they couldn't embrace each other in their arms as they had hoped, he decides to embrace his lovers' existence and decided to disappear once a day to give Shadow a chance to 'shine' as Dark with a strong vigor. In the daylight they met as Light and Shadow but maintain a bittersweet distance, acknowledging their love , still close and yet so far.

LOVE, LOSS N SELFLESSNESS

Light disappears slowly into a beautiful sunset, the balance between light and darkness, as they intertwine in a beautiful dance. Light slowly dimming, eager to glimpse at dark before it submerges, safely reflecting in the waters for Dark to see. Light casts a warm, golden glow over the landscape as he succumbs to the darkness.

Everything looks like how it did at the very beginning for Dark, and she hated it. What she loathed more was the fact that she hated it. Dark's emptiness echoed through the desolate landscape like a whispered sigh.She might have been alone but thinking of Light's sacrifice felt overwhelming and warm. Missing Light, Dark's eyes welled up with tears as she gazed at the empty space where Light once shone. She felt a deep sorrow, as if a part of her had been extinguished. Yet, as she looked up, she saw her tears transform into stars, twinkling like diamonds in the night sky giving off just a little bit of light and suddenly Dark didn't feel lonely, alone but not lonely. That warm feeling that she suddenly felt inside, a core she never knew, slowly ascending to the sky and she called it the moon, glowing with a soft, gentle light, symbolizing the presence of Light within Dark.

~ This celestial ballet becomes a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, love and connections can persist.~

but this was just the beginning for Dark, for there was more to her than just void n terror.

DARK's LIGHT

Moonflowers begin to bloom, releasing the sweetest, intoxicating fragrance. These beautiful flowers being a symbol of love and dreams. The sweetness of the moonflowers' nectar lingered on Dark's lips, a reminder of Light's presence. A swarm of fireflies dance beneath the nightsky, as glowworms merge from the ground, the luna moths landing on the flowers as the monarch butterflies finally depart, guided by the moon. Hedgehogs, possums, sugar gliders, rabbits come out to embrace the dark and what it has to offer, bats ready to spread their wings and fly high as the moonflowers' delicate petals shimmer like silk in the soft light. The waters reflecting Dark's beauty.

Light stayed with Dark the entire time, just like how Dark still existed within Light

THE BREAK OF DAWN/A HARMONIOUS TRANSITION

As dawn breaks, Light gently alerts his arrival to his beloved, marking the transition from night to day, the only time Light and Dark can blend together in a soft, gentle dance besides setting. Light signaling "I'm coming and I'll bring warmth and illumination with me" . Light's warmth danced across Dark's skin, like gentle fingertips tracing her contours, enveloping her, and she felt an inexplicable sense of belonging, as if she had found a part of herself.

The soft rustle of leaves and chirping of crickets accompanied Light's gentle glow. Light dominating once again but not lonely for Dark is there, for Shadow is there, as the birds fly sky high, and the trees stand tall, as the sunflowers are being bright and cheerful as ever, butterflies, rabbits, squirrels, cicadas n pretty ladybugs basking in Light's rays n with them bringing Shadow along.

Just like how Light kept Dark company in her domain, Shadow will keep Light company in his domain with a love so close and yet so far, in coexistence.

SO CLOSE AND YET SO FAR

In the boundless expanse of existence, Light and Dark danced, their love a cosmic waltz, they knew their essence would forever entwine, a celestial harmony echoing through eternity. As they parted, their whispers became the gentle rustle of stardust, their love shining like a nebula, an eternal promise in the vast unknown. In this infinite cycle, they found solace, for in the darkness, Light's radiance lingered, and in the light, Dark's mystery abided. Their love became the fabric of the universe, an eternal tapestry woven from the threads of existence.

Light and Dark realize their love is eternal, but their existence is bound to the cosmic cycle. They accept that they'll forever be drawn together, only to be torn apart, yet their love will endure through the ages.

It is sad not, for they found happiness in acceptance
