I didn’t see that coming.” Abbie looked up from her coffee to Taylor, who met her gaze with sympathy. “He was willing to move for you?” Abbie exhaled. “Apparently so.” “Maybe he’ll think it through and have second thoughts about your relationship. After all, getting that job could solve all of your problems.” “No, he won’t. By the time he told me, I’d pretty much told him I didn’t love him enough—or at all, actually.” Taylor shook her head. “Don’t you think he did that on purpose—not telling you in advance? Not exactly fair, was it?” Abbie shrugged. “I can’t really blame him.
