Chapter 5

Kavya and Rest of the crew made their way into the forest to explore. Kavya was taking pictures on her phone as JJ took pictures on his camera.

Maya, on the other hand, was trying to flirt with Arun who was trying to mind his own business.

"Maya...Why are you here again?" Kavya asked as she looked at Arun.

"Huh? Why?"Maya asked.

"I told you once. He is already taken. Can't you understand?"Kavya asked.

"So? I wouldn't even care if he was married."Maya said as Kavya glared at Arun.

"Arun...Come on...let's go."Maya said pulling him back to the small house.

"Not so fast honey," Kavya said.

"Maya, I came to Protect you guys...We all need to stay in one place."Arun said as Maya opened her mouth to talk.

"If you say so Arun. But...What is your phone number?" She asked.

"He does not need to tell you his phone number," Kavya said.

"Kavya, don't you have his number already? how come you have it and I can't?" Maya asked.

"ya..Ya...She got my number in a very well manner." Arun said as KAvya glared at him.

"How? Did she say that you are cute and got it from you?" Maya asked.

"No, she stole it from her brother's phone and then called me the first time when she was in danger. A guy broke into her house and..." Arun started at kavya ignored him and started walking away.

"Wow. What a flashback."JJ said as kavya still ignored them and concentrated on looking through.

"Um...look over there. It's a...grave."Kavya said as she ran to it. As she went near it, the other ran. Kavya went close to the grave and touched it. She read the name.

"Prince of Maraghada Kottai, Magadheeran" Kavya read as the other stood at a distance while Arun came toward her.

"Wow," Maya said as she was coming near.

Suddenly a circle was drawn with fire around it. Kavya and Arun were stuck in between as Maya and JJ ran away from it. Kavya held onto Arun's arms and he wrapped his hands around her to make her feel more protected. As Maya moved away, the fire circle disappeared. There was no trace of a fire that had been there a minute ago.

"Look, even the grave of Magadheeran doesn't want the flirting Maya to go near it," Kavya said as Maya glared at her.

"Weren't you two ok with each other before Arun came into the scene?" JJ asked.

"Ya...Well...I never thought she would go after Arun." Kavya said.

"And I never thought that she would come in the way of me finding my true love," Maya said.

"Well, I saw him first," Kavya said.

"Have you not heard of this Tamil saying that Latah vanthaalum Latestah varanum" Maya asked. (Even if you come late, you should come in the latest style.)

"Shut up ok?" Kavya said as Arun chuckled.

"But true love will last forever and will wait until the time comes, "Kavya said recalling the time Arun was at the hospital.

"Are you saying that you love Arun?"Kavya asked as Arun looked at her hopefully.

"No, I don't...I was just saying it in general." She said as Arun looked away.

"Look, Something is written on it," Arun said pointing at the grave.

"Ya...Sad."Maya agreed.

"Give me the camera JJ."She pointed took the camera from him and took a picture of it.

"And now...Let's keep moving." She said as Arun pulled her hand. Sorry Kavya, We should head back. It's getting dark." He said as the others agreed.

"We had been walking for an hour. My legs are burning." Maya said.

"Want me to lift you?" JJ asked.

"No.." She said irritatedly and turned to run.

"Arun...Mind taking me back to Camp? My legs are burning."She said as Arun lifted her bridal style.

Kavya glared at him as he smirked at her. But this reminded her of the time when he had lifted her bridal style.

One time she had been sleeping on the sofa and Gautham tried waking her up to tell her to go sleep in her room but she didn't listen. Suddenly, She felt that she was in the air. She opened her eyes to find a pair of hands taking her to her room in bridal style. She looked into Arun's eyes as he looked back into her. She gently laid her on the bed as she smiled.

He turned to leave as she held his wrist.

"Arun...." She said.

"What?" he asked.

"Sing me a song so I can go to sleep... a lullaby." She said.

"Are you out of your mind?" he asked.

"Please?" she begged as he sang a rhyme.

"I am not a 3-year-old Arun." She said.

"Then?" he asked.

"I want a cinema song." She said.

She loved this movie because the character who love each other struggles to tell each other their love just like Arun and Kavya here. The song also goes with what they go through.

"Kavya...Are you ok?" Kavya came back to the present as Arun called her.

"Ya...I am Fine."She said as Arun let Maya down.

"But Arun..."Maya started as Arun ignored her and wrapped his hands around Kavya.

"Are you sure? if it's the normal you, you would have made a whole scene but you were thinking deeply about something," he said.

"It's nothing Arun...I was thinking about that time when you sang me a song to go to sleep." she said as Maya looked at her.

"Were y' all that close?" She asked.

"Actually Ya, She is My Best Friend's Sister and so she is.." Arun started.

"Isn't your best friend's sister supposed to be like your sister?" Maya interrupted.

"Not necessarily. cause referring back to the Tamil movie friends with Vijay and Surya, Surya hid his love for Vijay's sister but Vijay himself tells Surya that he is the right one for his sister." JJ said.

"So are you saying at Kavya will end up with Arun?" Maya asked as Kavya blushed. Arun looked at her flushed face and smirked.

"So..what song did you sing for her?" JJ asked.

"well...I sang...Uyire from Sollividava." He said.

"You remember?" She asked.

"Ya...That was one of your favorites back then." He said.

"Anyways...I am sleepy." Kavya took one side of the bed as Maya slept on the other.

JJ and Arun slept on one of the beds. Kavya got in the middle of the night and felt an urge to go outside. Arun heard her getting up and followed her.

She took her camera and started walking as Arun followed behind her.

"Hey, you girl." She heard a voice as she turned around scared.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I was just...exploring," she said.

"Girl. This is a forest, not your city to roam in the night. GO back home cause it's dangerous." the guy said.

"well, I don't care."She said as she walked past him. He cussed and left after giving up.

Kavya was walking by as she realized she has lost her way back. She turned around and she felt stranded.

"Oh god."She said to herself.

"Kavya," Arun said as she turned toward him.

"Man, Am I glad to see you."She said as she hugged him.

"Why would you go alone in this forest? that too at night?" he asked.

"I was just not sleepy." She said.

"ok fine come let's go."He said as she stopped.

"But I am sleepy," she said.

"Ok, sleep here."He said sarcastically.

"Arun.."She whined as he lifted her.

Soon as they reached the house, they found Maya and JJ snoring.

"Arun..."She said as he laid her down next to Maya.

"Do you like Maya?" She asked.

"No...I don't...Why would I when my Girlfriend is waiting for me."He said as she looked confused.

"All these years."He added as she blushed.

"So," she said.

"ya..so what?" he asked.

"nothing... good night," she said as he smiled as he went to his bed.
