The next morning, Kavya was the last one to wake up. Arun and JJ were drinking a cup of coffee as Kavya got up and came to sit on the sofa.
"Where is Maya?" she asked.
"Restroom...makeup," JJ said two words.
"Obviously," Kavya said as her eyes landed of Arun.
He was busy on his phone and was ignoring her. She went near him and pulled his phone. She looked at what he was doing.
He had been texting someone. but when she read the name, anger spread through her face.
"Who the hell is Meera?" She asked with a glare.
"huh? you know I told you about a girlfriend yesterday...how she was waiting for me for years...well it's her." He said as her face dropped all of a sudden.
"Oh..good to know." She said as she started to leave.
He held her hands as she shoved it away and went to the room and locked it. He suddenly felt guilty. He was just joking around but she took it seriously.
Soon they went out on another exploration. Kavya ignored Arun as he tried to talk to her.
"Wow...this is the grave of Mithradevi," JJ said.
"Wow...it is beautiful," Maya said as she touched it.
"Actually guys...Mithra devi...she is well a...princess in Emerald Forest. Her Mother had 2 brothers...One who was Marudheeran's Father Raja Kathirvelan and the other who was Raj Mahadev. Dev basically was 10 to 20 years older than Mithra and Marudheeran was about 5 years older than her. Raja Kathir loved Mithra very dearly...this is why her grave is decorated this beautifully. Something happened and both Marudheeran and Mithra died but I don't really know what had happened."Kavya said.
"Well...are you a reporter or Archaeologist?" Arun asked.
"Reporter," she said as she moved on.
"Kavya...Sorry...I didn't mean to hurt you." He said.
"Ok," she said as she kept walking.
"This girl will never learn, "Maya said.
"shut up Maya."She said.
"Kavya...come with me." He pulled her privately.
"What?" she asked.
"I...Love you," he confessed.
"Ok?" she said.
"Kavya...I am sorry...I was joking when I said Meera was...Meera is my cousin.. like she is my sithappa ponnu....no need to feel jealous here...I only like you."(daughter of dad's brother.) he said.
"So you think I am jealous? how..why should I? you were the one who disrespected my love years ago and now you say you love me." She said.
"You were young...High school." He said.
"I...dont care." She said.
"what did you expect me to do? get n relationship with a girl who wasn't even major at the time and gets caught by police and filed as a..." He started as she hugged him.
"Nee mattum thaan joke pannuviya?" She asked. (Are you only one who can joke around?)
Maya and JJ came as Maya's face dropped.
"I knew it...They liked each other." Maya said.
"And?" JJ said.
"It's not like he is the only guy in the world," Maya said as she walked away.
Soon the two who had just confessed their loves kept walking to get more clues.
Soon after a lot of walking, they reached a tree.
"Arun...I am hungry...I want that mango right there." She said.
"Well... I don't think these are safe," he said as she ignored him and picked a mango from the tree.
"WHO DARES TO PICK MANGOES FROM MITHRADEVI"S TREES." A loud roar came.
"Kavya...What the hell? you got us in..."Maya started as a lady walked to them.
"Who picked the mangoes?" she shouted as she came toward them. The group stuck together.
"Sorry, Mam...I didn't know it was your tree...I was the one who..."Arun said as Kavya looked at him with guilt in her eyes.
"No...It was me...He was lying."She said as the lady turned to her.
"Come with me."She said as she pulled Kavya's hands.
suddenly she looked at her surprised.
"Mithradevi?" She said as she stared at Kavya. Kavya held Arun's hand.
The lady looked at Arun and touched him and smiled.
"it's not safe for you guys to be here....especially with Raj Mahadev's..." She started as they hear some horse sounds from far.
"Run...please...Take her with you and run," The lady told Arun as they took off running.
"What happened?" Kavya asked as they reached their house.
"You know what? we are leaving."Maya said.
"But...But...why? it just got interesting...If we find that lady again... I am sure we can..."She said as there was a harsh knock on the door.
"I will see," Arun said as he opened the door.
"Where is Princess...Mithra Devi?" a guy in the horse asked.
"What are you saying? search the house but there is no princess anywhere." Arun said as the guy looked at Kavya.
"Her...She is the princess." He said.
"What? I am Kavya," she said as the guy pulled her onto the horse and sped off as Arun ran behind them.
"Arun...Help.." Kavya shouted as the guy threw a rock at Arun and He fell to the ground.
"No..No Arun...Please...Let me go see him...He is hurt."She shouted.
Suddenly she felt as if she had disappeared. Everything had changed and she was in a cage crying.
"Let me out, you idiots..."She shouted.
"Mithra devi...please..."A guy said as She glared at him.
"For the last time, my name is Kavya and let me go...I need to go see my Arun" she said,
"No way...You cannot go see him.. Who is he? a human...but you ....you are our princess and soon our queen after RajMahadev kills the reincarnation of Marudheeran and marry you." he said.
"Ok..so is there a possibility for some guy to come to save me?" she asked.
"Well....Marudheeran...But our king won't let him." He said.
"And how is this Marudheeran gonna wake up from the dead again....oh wait...this should be my next story," Kavya said sarcastically.
"Ok...have it your way...is this how you lock the princess in a cage? like what type of people are you?" she asked.
"Sorry, Maharani (princess) but that was an order from Raj Mahadev and we followed it. We will free you from here as soon as he says so.
"What is all the sound here?" they heard a voice.
"Princess....Wow...so you do exist....wow." A girl said.
"and who are you?" Kavya asked.
"I am Devarani....well I am the last princess as for now. Raj Mahadev killed my parents and made me stay here... I gave up the hope to come back...like we used to live here... I had my parents but now who do I have?" the girl asked.
"How old are you?" kavya asked.
"16." the girl said.
"Ok..I will take you to the city if we escape."Kavya said.
"Ya...But you can't escape." the guy said.
"First of all have some manners and second, I will show you who this kavya is by escaping, "Kavya said as she felt someone slap her.
