The wolfsbane made Dezzy to retreat inside my mind in a near comatose state for about 1 hour, but by the next morning it was as if we had never touched the stuff. And Dezzy claims it shouldn’t affect us like that ever again. We are supposedly immune now.
So can I, like, turn invisible? I ask Dezzy, wondering what else I’m capable of.
No.
Well, that’s disappointing! I’d love to be able to sneak around listening to what people say about me.
What about reading minds? I ask next.
No.

Seriously, Dezzy explains, you really don’t want to know what humans are thinking. I’ve heard your thoughts for years, and it’s been more annoying than enlightening or educational, believe me!
