I loved how I looked, smelled, I was in love with this red elegant dress, it has a slit in the middle

I decided to come early, to harsh out our past trauma, I didn't still make it on time traffic, a big bell just like a church bell rang out loud as it struck nine, people came out of their cars with stunning dresses, elegant tux I couldn't even recognize anyone, everyone is with a ball mask on their faces.

The entranceway was tremendous, I have forgotten how rich her father is, my heart is pounding so fast I don't know why the air I was breathing was suffocating me in my selfless thought

People dancing, chatting, dark dull light everywhere, you couldn't see who is there, I loved it that way until the bright light was turned on " damn it" saying it under my breath, on the good side, I could see and recognize some old pals

I got a notification on my phone from Elena to meet her upstairs

I was with Josh, the invitation said to bring a plus one, I had no one in mind, and he insinuated to come.

"Wait here am going upstairs to meet Elena," I said

"oh I can, am looking at a lot of people to bring home with me tonight have a lovely talk with her" looking at men bodies, as he sips the glass campaign he took from the wine bearers

I took gentle footsteps on the staircase, swinging my hips seductively I loved the attention I got from the men looking at me sexually

The message said "meet me in the library" placing my hands on the handle of the door I could hear her voice, she was talking to someone

" Hello!" I said as a red-haired woman faced me, so did Elena

"Oh my what took you so long!" She exclaimed in excitement "traffic" looking confused a bit about the surroundings.

I smiled back because it's been forever since I talked to her, "so we are not getting no hugs anymore or what" I said sarcastically

"I would never miss it for the world" the hug was as tight and cut short by the red-headed woman "ahem ahem", sorry for my intrusion am Janet, Elena step-mum" my heart stopped in a heartbeat he got married, I couldn't think properly again, I thought I had let it all go and not sure what I was going to expect? him waiting for me still in my thought.

"And you are?" I came back to reality with that simple question "am Aurora" Elena intervened " I told you this like fifty times, I don't know why my dad had to marry a dumb b***h" things began to get a little bit crazy, till we heard a knock at the door making everywhere silent, I could sense his smell, but was I ready to see him?
