Just as Paige's body began to tremble, Lucian's head turned, his red orbs locked onto her.
“Paige…” She heard him say her name.
Panicking, Paige’s eyes instantly widened, and abruptly she turned and ran as fast as she could.
Leaving the tunnels through the library, passing a confused and concerned looking Lacey as she barreled through the mansion, up the stairs two at a time, until she reached the fifth floor.
Paige sped through the corridor running until she reached a door at the far end of the hall.
