Paige frowned, watching him nervously. “I don’t think we’ll require your assistance, Kade.” Gabriel sobered, eyeing Kade suspiciously before turning back to give Paige a slight bow, gesturing towards an empty ring next to Lucian's. “Your loss.” She heard Kade remark smugly as they made their way to the ring. A few minutes later, Paige stared down at the sparring stick Gabriel was placing in her hands. He had removed his shirt, revealing a perfect eight pack and a small, pentagram tattoo on his hip that Paige hadn’t noticed that morning. “Ready for your first lesson, Luna?” He gave her a mischievous smile. She gripped the sparring stick and nodded. He stepped closer. “Lesson one…” he brushed his stick against hers before quickly knocking it to the ground. “Don’t drop your weapon.”
