The black Rolls-Royce gradually eased to a stop in front of Paige's house. Paige, who was now grimacing out the window, nervously glanced back at Gabriel. Tapping her thumb on her bag, she chewed on her bottom lip as she contemplated every feasible option for escape. As he came around to open the door for her, Paige hesitantly climbed out, faking a smile as she turned to face him, and then spoke. “I should only be a moment... if you would like to wait in the car.” Gabriel gave her an uncertain look before he opened his mouth to protest, but Paige quickly cut him off, adding dryly, “There’s literally nowhere for me to run from inside my own home, and I’m certainly not in any danger with you and your lot watching my house so diligently.” Paige rolled her eyes as she gestured to the home.
