“Uh-huh.”
Alyssa clapped her hands excitedly. “I’m going to see you.”
“Yes, you are. If I’m still invited.”
“Of course, you are,” Alyssa screamed at the laptop. “Oh, sweetheart.” She kissed the screen, red lipstick smudging all over it. Giggling, she wiped her laptop with a tissue. “Have you looked up flights? I found some good deals. Do you want to fly direct, or do you want stopovers? How about—”
