ZEUS The morning sun filters through the heavy drapes, casting long shadows across my chamber. I sit in silence, the remnants of last night's whiskey lingering on my tongue, the glass still half-full on the mahogany table beside me. A knock disrupts the stillness. "Enter," I call out, my voice steady. A soldier steps in, his posture rigid. "Your father requests your presence in his study." I nod, dismissing him with a wave. As the door closes behind him, a smirk tugs at the corners of my lips. Finally, the recognition I deserve. I rise, stretching the stiffness from my limbs before pulling on a charcoal button-down and dark jeans. Simple. Neat. Respectable, but nothing flashy.
