“How was it, Celestine? Is the food delicious?” Adrian looks so excited while anticipating my answer after tasting the food that he cooked for our breakfast.
He prepared rolled eggs, bacon and sausages and also some bread toast with butter. The moment he was finished, he immediately went to me and let me taste it.
“Yeah, the food is so delicious. I never expected that you are actually a good cook, Adrian,” I can’t help but to compliment him because I am just telling him the truth. The food is indeed so delicious, honestly.
While scratching his head he replied with an awkward smile, “Really? I am glad that you liked it. You know what I did not expect was that having a wife like you really feels so great for me.”
