Andrew’s POV
It's been a week, we have already buried Mr. Smith's body but Lauren stays the same, she is still in denial.
She refused to attend her father's funeral because she believes that her father isn't dead yet.
According to the doctor it commonly happened to people whenever they lose their loved ones. They refused to accept reality and kept on denying the situation. Denial can lead to serious problems if it continues and I am afraid that Lauren might be stuck in this misery.
"Love," I called her but she didn't respond. She continued staring at the window as if she didn't hear anything.
I walked towards her and then sat at the edge of her bed. I tapped her shoulder, and she threw me a glance but later on, she brought her eyes back to the window.
"Love you have to eat," I uttere
