I knew people like them. They did the same thing over and over until their moves became almost predictable. That was how I knew this was going to happen. These people only turned to the law when they had no other way out, and when their manipulation no longer worked.
The irony was that they hated the law, but the moment it suited them, they clung to it. And, of course, they thought threatening a college girl with no one by her side would be the easiest win.
