Hades I walked her into the hall, my hand around her waist. The flashing lights and endless camera shutters meant nothing to me, I had long since grown immune to their noise. But tonight, I slowed my pace. I walked as if I had all the time in the world, savoring the sight of Violet beside me. She was nervous. She wasn’t used to this spotlight.
