Kendace (POV)

Three weeks later.

Weeks have passed since I practically ran out of Lucifer's house.

I had come back home and had found a worried Morgan sitting on the stairs of our porch.

I had told her everything that happened and she had told me that it was alright it happened sometimes.

Ever since that day, I have never gone to a club again. I tried to forget everything but his thoughts continue to invade my mind.

I was feeling ill for a straight week now that I didn't even leave my bed

It was Friday morning when I decided it was enough and headed to see a doctor.

Morgan was driving the car while I was listening to the music.

"Are you sure you don't want to call your dad?" Morgan asked for the last time.

I rolled my eyes. " I'm not ready for that yet," I told her for the last time.

"Ever since you came home from that guy's house, you are behaving strangely" Morgan murmured loud enough for me to hear.

"Yeah I think so," I said

"Kendace! It was just a one-night stand. Just forget about it" Morgan said, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"It's hard to forget!" I said.

"If it was like that then why did you leave without telling him?" Morgan snapped.

You might already have an idea of how serious this situation is because my sister never snaps at me like this.

"Because I'm afraid of affections" I whispered to her with a weak smile.

Morgan knows what I'm talking about. So she didn't push the matter any further as we reached the clinic

She inhaled deeply before patting my head like a mother indicating I to inside.

I left the car without a word. Knowing Morgan, she will follow.

We sat in the waiting area for an hour before our turn came.

While the doctor ran through a few tests. Morgan waited patiently.

After that, we were led to the doctor's office. The doctor came in with the reports in her hands.

"Hi Tina" Morgan greeted the doctor with a pleasant smile

Tina smiled back at her before getting to the point.

"All the reports are normal. It's just the effect of pregnancy" Tina said

"Pregnancy?" Morgan and I asked at the same time.

"Yes. Miss Kandace, You are pregnant" Tina smiled at me thinking she was giving me good news.

My eyes widened at the same time Morgan squeaked "Oh my goodness!! Kenny, you're pregnant!!!!" She hugged me.

Happy for me. while I was shocked. I can't be pregnant, there has to be a misunderstanding of some sort. I can't! I'm just twenty-two. I don't have any experience. Hell, I still need Morgan every time to find my things for me when I don't remember where I left them. Yet. being a mother of a stranger's child. It will be horrible.

Another thought seizes my mind.

If I'm pregnant. It means this is Lucifer's kid.

"Morgan!!!" I whisper-yelled at her.

She looked at me with confusion in her eyes.

"This child inside me! Lucifer his/ her father?" I asked.

Morgan didn't understand what I meant, but when she did. Her expressions were more aghast than mine.

We thanked the doctor as we practically ran out of the clinic and headed for home.

Kendace (POV)

When I had come back from Lucifer's mansion that day. Morgan had done some research on who Lucifer was.

Turned out I didn't only lose my virginity to a stranger but also to a rich powerful Irish mafia.

The three dudes that I had encountered at his home were his brothers or as they call themselves.

That's why I and Morgan were panicking. Morgan thinks if I didn't step out of the house for a few days, no one would find out about my pregnancy.

But that too was proved wrong when the next evening a knock sounded on our door.

I was the one to open the door and was face to face with none other than the Mafia himself.

He was still as handsome as I had seen him last time. Though last time I was drooling over him now I hate him because of this unwanted pregnancy.

"Miss Kendace!" He greeted me with the same demanding voice he had greeted me last time.

Before I could say anything Morgan came to my rescue. It was then only that I noticed the guys from last time standing behind him.

"Well, Mr. Lucifer. My sister has nothing to do with you. So if you find the answer you were looking for. Please leave!" Morgan said formally as she hid me behind her. Told you so. Mother hen!

The guys behind Lucifer tried to hide their laughs while Lucifer remained calm. As if he was expecting this from my sister haha. Take it you bast*rd.

When Morgan was about to close the door on their faces. He said "I know that you are carrying my child" very calmly which made me shiver.

Lucifer (POV)

The beautiful lady, with mahogany long hair and gray eyes that can hypnotize you just by a look, is what I came here today for.

The morning she left my house without even glancing back at me was the last time I had seen her beautiful face. She is still just as beautiful.

I know she is angry with me because of her unwanted pregnancy. And I also know that she can't afford to raise our child on her own.

What she does not know is that everything that is happening to her was planned by me.

I got her pregnant intentionally. Knowing she will have no choice. That night in the dark alley. I have recognized what she is to me. And who she is.

Everyone around me thinks she is just a pawn on the chessboard, I am playing on. No one except me knows where she stands.

After she had left my house. I had hired my bodyguards to watch her every moment. Because it was impossible that my plan won't work and she won't get pregnant. When she and her so-called sister Morgan Stanley arrived to see the doctor. I had known that everything is going according to my plan.

This game is not as open as it looks. It is not even close to. The game has just started Kendace.

Kendace POV

"We came to offer a deal," Max said, trying to calm everyone.

Morgan's face reddened with anger "My sister is not a thing to put a deal on!! Your piece of s**t!!" She yelled at them.

Okay!! That was a little too much Morgan. If we want to live. But knowing her. She will die in a blink of an eye for me.

I squeezed her hand "What deal!?" I asked, meeting my gaze with the drop-dead handsome man standing in front of me.

"Let's talk inside" He ordered as he pushed past us into our living room. His minions followed him. Like they own this place.

What an as*holes.

They took seats on the sofas while Morgan stood in front of them and I had no choice except to stand behind her.

"You guys have ten minutes before I'm kicking you all out of my house" Morgan threatens.

Lucifer didn't even blink at her threat as if he finds her funny but can't laugh. "I know that you are carrying my child. However, you can't afford the expense that comes with it" He said stating the fact.

"So?" Morgan asked.

"So, let's make a deal here. It will benefit you too" he said.

"How?" I asked. A little curious about where he is going with this.

He smirked as if he achieved something when he made me address him directly.

"If you agree with me I'll make sure to attend to all the needs there will be for this baby and you." He said.

"And what do you want in return?" Morgan asked with a raised brow.

His minions were strangely quiet as if this situation

was new for them even.

"I want her to marry me until she gives birth to my child," he said calmly while I was left shocked yet again
