Farrahs pov...

Our beta Simon had been acting real jittery for a couple of weeks now, his mate Pru had noticed and made several comments to me about it "I don't know what's going on with him, but we're not even intimate anymore, he just says he's too tired uuugghhhh, I'd think he was having an affair, but I haven't felt any betrayal pains".

"Maybe he's just stressed, we have been working hard on a few new contracts for hotel suppliers? I'll ask Darren to go a little easier on him, see if that helps" Darren is my husband and the Alpha of our Moon Keepers Pack, our son has turned 3 years old 2 months ago on September 17th and is named Illios.

"I'm just gonna get Illios to bed Pru, I'll be down in 10 mins" I start walking up the stairs carrying Illios, when I get a cold shiver up my spine and a sudden pain in my chest, I mindlink Darren "What's going on love? Are you ok?".

"Get Gamma Chris and take Illios away from here darlin, I don't have long to hold Simon off, he shot me up with Wolfsbane, he wants our boy, take him and yourself to my friend Samuel in the Moon Gazers Pack, he will help" his beautiful husky voice was sounding weaker and weaker, I ran down the stairs, told Pru what was happening, mindlinked Gamma Chris and his mate Sarah to get a car ready to go to the Moon Gazer Pack "I will love you always Darren, please try to get out safe, we'll meet you at Samuels Pack"

There was no answer, I could feel the weakening of our mate bond, then I felt a sudden snap in my chest and I was on my knees cuddling Illios, my Gamma Chris supported my weight as Sarah struggled to keep hold of Illios as he felt his Fathers death and was thrashing around in anguish and pain.

We eventually got to the car as beta Simon was walking through the back door, he saw us getting into the car, threw his clothes off and turned into his large, deep brown wolf, he started to run at us, Chris gunned the motor and sped off the driveway at great speed, after driving for about 30 mins we reached the border of our packlands.

I got out and shouted "I Farrah Masters, Luna of the Moon Keepers Pack, hereby renounce any claim to this pack and I will now be known as a rogue" Feeling the pack link break in my chest and all the mindlinks being severed have severely weakened me to the point of collapse, "I now only hope Samuel at the Moon Gazers Pack will take us all in, we shall go to a close hotel for the night, hopefully get some food and rest, we will need it" I say to Chris and Sarah.

"What happened to Darren, Farrah?" Asked a very confused and angry Chris, "Simon wanted our son, he's been acting strange for weeks, didn't see this coming though, he knows about the Moon Lovers mark on Illios, was probably hoping to sell our boy to the highest bidder, he killed Darren after pumping him full of wolfsbane" I screamed "I'm going to find a way to kill Simon for the loss of my 1 true mate".

After Chris and Sarah had renounced the pack, we got back into the car and drove to a hotel, that was close to the Moon Gazer Pack, once we were safely ensconced in the two bedroom hotel suite, I got my laptop out and sent a message to our Top pack enforcer, telling him exactly what happened, he got back to me saying Simon and Pru had already told everyone in a meeting, how Farrah had killed Darren in a fit of rage over his apparent cheating.

Apparently, there was proof of cctv, but they only caught the back view of the woman, as she injected my husband with wolfsbane, then slashed his throat with a silver blade, she looked like me from behind, had my blonde hair with caramel highlights but I was with Pru and little Illios when that happened.

Simon had already been in touch with the bank about the pack and business accounts, all had been transferred into his name, I only have access to my personal account, thankfully I was wealthy in my own right so didn't have to rely on the other accounts, I then messaged Alpha Samuel at Moon Gazer Pack, he said he knew I would be coming soon, and would explain when we arrived at the pack.

I spoke to the Gamma couple about what had been said back home "Simon said I killed my Darren in a fit of rage, over his apparent cheating, he never cheated on me, I would have felt it and I didn't, they also have cctv of a woman, they only caught the back view, conveniently for them, she had the same hair as me, but I wouldn't be caught dead in the clothes grrr, I saw her pump him full of wolfsbane and s***h his throat with a silver blade" I fell down on my knees and sobbed over my beautiful strong husband bleeding out on his office floor.

My Gamma couple noticed that beta Simon was acting shifty for weeks and they believed in me, I told them Alpha Samuel was expecting us in the morning, so I got into bed with my Baby boy Illios as the Gamma couple shared the 2nd bedroom, I cuddled into my boy and finally fell into the oblivion of sleep.

I opened my eyes and my breath caught in my throat, I was barefoot and was wearing the most beautiful white shift dress, it felt like silk, there was a field of gorgeous wild flowers very close to a blue lake, as I walked to the lake I saw Darren splashing around, he looked at me and winked, summoning me with his crooked pointer finger, I ran to him and jumped into his arms.

I didn't realise I was crying, the tears were streaming down my face, Darren cupped my cheeks and tried valiantly to wipe the tears away "Please do not cry for me my love, I will love you and Illios forever." he kissed me on the forehead and the tip of my nose "give Illios a huge hug and kiss goodbye from Daddy my love, I will see you both from the Moon Goddesses realm." with that Darren started to dissappear and I tried to clutch at him.

I saw a lady, sitting on a bench beside the lake, she was stunning, white blonde hair and silver eyes, with a figure to die for, she was perfection, dressed in a figure hugging dress similar to the one I was wearing, only hers was silver.

I got out the lake and walked towards her, she held my hands and said "you my dear child, have a destiny to fulfill, you will meet your 2nd chance mate, keep your heart open and keep the children safe and together, you are waking up now with Illios, we will meet again and I can tell you more" she touched my forehead and I went to sleep, waking up only short seconds later in the bed with Illios.

It was 4am and Illios was still sleeping soundly, I settled back to sleep for a couple of hours, woke back up at 6am and Illios was now wide awake, I gave my son the biggest cuddle and the kiss his daddy asked me to give him, and told him how much he was loved by both of us, I gave him a shower and got him ready to go.

We got breakfast with our Gamma couple and then we travelled to the Moon Gazers Pack, I had the feeling this was going to be a new beginning and I kept my heart open, at least I got my final farewell to my love Darren.
