"Can you come with me tomorrow?" Merlin ask after an hour she slept on my lap, I never see her this vulnerable.
"Sure, Let me ask a day off to James." I say.
"Yeah I have already informed him, I couldn't come to the office a week and I'm sick." She says looking at her empty hands.
"Can you stay with me today? I don't want to spend the night alone after everything." She says still not looking at me.
"Sure, you don't have to hesitate to ask. Mel." I say.
"I'm lucky to have you. You are the best." I heard her chirping voice again, she seems calm now. At least somewhat. My phone was already chiming with light. And I know who it will be.
"I need a shower. We can order something for dinner." Merlin says slipping into the antique marble bathroom.
