I stirred in my sleep.
I was slowly regaining consciousness. I became aware of my surroundings again. There were whispering voices somewhere around me.
"She's waking up. . ." One of the voices said.
I forced my eyes open even if they felt too heavy. That was when I saw three faces looming for mine. My sight was blurry at first, getting in and out of focus.
"Why isn't she saying anything?" Another asked.
"She must still be in shock," the last one said.
