"Yes, Yulia. That's what newly weds do," my mother pointed out like it was very obvious.
Yara came alive as my eyes went wide with shock. I wanted to scream at my mom for her betrayal.
"You can't leave me here, Mom," I stated through clenched teeth while trying to pull a fake grin.
She also sent me a toothy grin. "You're a grown woman, Yulia. You don't need to follow me around," she answered while twitching her left eye at me.
I released a laughter that was fake because all I really wanted to do was cry. "This means that I'll be home alone with my new brothers," I answered in a dark tone. "I've never been alone with anyone else aside from you, Mom," I pointed out while nailing my gaze on her.
