I woke up with a groan.
For some reason, my head hurt. Had yesterday's events really taken its toll on me? I sighed and sat up.
The sun had already risen and was shimmering into the room. I turned lazily to the sun and watched the way it blazed in the sky.
It was quite mesmerising, sitting there in the sky and casting its golden essence for the world to see. I smiled just as I felt Yara stir within me.
Then I got out of bed. The room suddenly felt unfamiliar. I stood in the centre for a while before it all came back to me.
"Right, we just moved in because my mom decided to get married," I muttered.
