I froze in my tracks as overwhelming feelings hit me.
Yara began to dance wildly in my head. I thought about all the times that I had thought I would die in the past few days since they went on their honeymoon. All the times I thought that I would not see my mother again.
Yet I was and here she was.
"You look as if you had a hell of a day," Mother pointed out as she gestured at me. "And who's your friend?"
I did not know it when my legs moved and I ran into my mother's embrace so fast that it shocked even her.
