The Demon Within

Chapter One

Third Person's POV

Five teenagers are at the top of a mountain. The moon illuminated its light. They enjoy the view as the cool wind breezes.

"What a beautiful view." Said one of the teenagers, which is she is 18 years old. Her name is Isabelle.

"Hey guys. The time is up. We're going home." Marky said as he packed his things and put it in his backpack.

"Wait babe." Anna shout as he ran to his boyfriend and took a selfies.

"Would you stop acting like he's your boyfriend?" Kimberly said with anger behind her words.

"Looks like your jealousy." Gio joked her.

"No I'm not jealous to my ex." Kimberly denied but she blushed.

"No need to jealous." Gio said as he hug Kimberly. "I'm here for you."

"Ehem." Isabelle cough to get their attentions. Gio broke his hug and get his bag from floor.

"It's nearly midnight. While we we're hiking I notice a cave. So we're going to stay for a night."

"I agree." Marky said.

"Me too." Anna joined.

"That's a good idea." Gio answered.

"Nahh. That's worst idea that I heard." Kimberly said as she walk down the mountain.

"Wait. Come on. It's just a one night." Anna said.

"Please." This time Anna begged.

"Okay fine. Just a one night."Kimberly said and they walk down the mountain. After a five minutes, they finally saw a cave. They walked inside the cave. Inside the cave, was four torched that attached in every corner.

"Well that's weird." Kimberly said as she put a blanket and pillow. "Goodnight guys."

"Wait looked." Anna point a wall which contains a weird drawing.

"What is that thing?" Isabelle asked as she walk closer to the wall.

"Well take your time, best." Anna tap her shoulder and went to his boyfriend, Marky.

Isabelle carefully examining a drawing until one of them caught in attention. It's not a drawing, it's a letter a write in Chinese Alphabet. Since she is a exchange foreign student from china ,she can understand a Chinese so she read it in English. She was shocked what she's read.

The Demon's Cave

"Guys we need--" She was to say something but when she turn around, her friends are gone. Saved for their backpack.

"Guys?" She called her friends but nothing happened. She saw a note with a blood at the edge of its paper.

You're mine from now

She fell cold as someone's touch her shoulder.

"I think we're having a great deal." Someone whisper from her right ears.

As the sun rise, the mountain was sorrounded by policemen, soldiers, and newscasters.

"Strange phenomenon happened last night. Five teenagers vanished without any traces."

The policemens are went to cave where they notice a note with a blood on the floor.

"This may get a great evidence for." One of them said as he took an evidence and put it in plastic bag.

"Sir." One of the newscaster ran togehter with a camera man. "What will you think about this case?" She asked.

"I think this case is a murder. As we see this note. I think one of them are kidnap." The policeman explained. "And I never saw this strange case before."

Suddenly they heard a scream and as they ran outside the cave. They shocked what they saw.

They are all gone.

"What the heck just happened?"The newscaster said to herself.

"They didn't just leave." The cameraman said as he took a film outside the cave.

"They gone without traces."

They went inside the cave and notice the drawings from the wall.

"What is this things? Paulo film it." The newscaster said.

"You got it Anne." Paulo said as he set his camera to Anne. "Okay in 3 2 1 go."

"A weird drawings found inside the cave where the incident happened. This drawing are made during ancient time. For example this drawing represents." Anne stop for a moment. "It's represent...."

"Represent what? Anne we we're wasting a time here."

"It's represent how to worship the false gods and how to summon the demon."

Anne and Paulo stared each other for a moment.

"We need to get out of here now." Anne said and Paulo agreed. They about to leave when Anne saw something and screamed at the top of her lungs. They saw a policeman hanging on the loose, lifeless.

Anne sat on the floor as she cover her mouth. Her eyes are slowly forming a tears unexpected.

"Paulo? Did you film that?" Finally Anne asked his cameraman but she heard nothing. She turned around and she saw a five backpack that belongs to five teenagers. She didn't dare to touch it, nor grab it. She look back at the policeman dead corpse and scream again this time with a word produce.

"Paulo?! The police is moving."

Suddenly a policeman' dead corpse move and remove the rope that tie from his neck. Anne watched helplessly as a policeman walk toward her.

"Don't even dare to move closer to me." Anne warned as she grab a pocket knife from her pocket. But the police smile devilishly and took a step.

Anne was about to stab the police but he grab her hand, effortlessly steal the pocket knife and stab her in the chest.

"Nobody knows the secret within this demon's cave." He said and push Anne's body.

Paulo freeze at his position as the police look at him and smile devilishly.

He swiftly throw the pocket knife directly to his head.

"You stupid." The policeman said as he leave the cave. He watched the view from outside the cave. He took a breath as he whisper.

"My job is done."

He jump from the high edge rock and fall to truck which is belong to Anne. His bones are crack, even his skull.

After this incident no one is brave enough to visit that cave. Even the highest position of police officer didn't want to investigate that cave. That cave remains mystery for three years. The parents of this five teenagers lost their hope to find their children again. The time has passed.

But exactly three years, one of the teenagers went outside the cave and start climb down the mountain. As she reach at the bottom, she look at her surroundings with confused look. Her white t shirt and blue jeans are fill with blood. She's only have a bare feet and her blonded hair mix with blood. She look her hands, and took a breath.

"What did just happpened?"
