I find myself wondering how many people wish they had an Oscar in their life.
The right stranger at the right time. One who might not know us all that well or even agree with what we’ve done, but they do the right thing by us in that one instance. Offer that little bit of support that we need.
People really need so little support to get along in their lives.
Mr. Oscar Gaines and Lorenzo -- who would eventually be known as Triton -- very clearly played an integral part in keeping Michael on his path, not to say alive.
But then again, who didn’t?
That is a truly important point about telling these stories. The opportunity to pass on the very fact that everything we do can change someone’s life.
At any point, we can be the right stranger who happens to be there at the right time.
