The campus was uncharacteristically silent, and yet very justifiably now that he knew what was going on. Michael pulled out his own phone, which was connected to the school’s Wi-Fi, and promptly started getting properly appraised about the situation. As quickly as he could, Michael sifted through the click-bait titles and their one-sentence elaborations, seeking to find out the sequence of events that had led to the destruction he saw.
