“Where is Zach?” I ask, trying my level best to sound normal. I don't let the anger I'm feeling surface just yet, but it's clear everyone can see it, judging by how they're looking at me.
“He is out back waiting for his driver, he wanted to drug her some more because the drug wasn't taking effect soon enough. He thought it was inadequate so he went to get more.” The waiter says, his bloody nose not a distraction from my thoughts of s*******r.
