Everything I should have felt when I saw Angel bleeding on the floor, I feel it now. The fear, the contrition, it's all washing down on me now that I see Camilla at the top of the staircase. She is stiffened in place, tears streaming down her cheeks and nails digging into her trembling hands as she shakes her head at someone. Once again, I'm following a gaze, her gaze, and it leads me to Adrian. “Oh s**t,” someone curses beside me. I spare them a glance, it's Santiago. I gulp, my throat suddenly dry at the thoughts running through my mind right now. Camilla wouldn't push Angel, would she? I put a pin on that thought, trying to clear my mind of all possible scenarios, the major one being Angel losing the baby and in my head, it doesn't sound so bad. Am I a bad person for thinking this? I
