1107 Words
For Casimir’s and Lucian's game, there are two sides needed to play, the red side and the blue side. The blue side always throws the first punch. If hit during the first punch, you get a big punishment for being weak. To win, you must draw blood from the other team. Running on rooftops, chasing after him, he couldn’t get away. Casimir jumps from the building he was on and pins the monsters' shadow on the wall. As Casimir got closer to the monster, he could see the green scales on its body and how it has 4 arms. “You have to get back now.” Casimir gets closer to the monster and reaches out his hand for it to take. “I don’t WaNt tO, I WaNt To StaY HerE.” The monster looks around for a way out but in the end fails to get out of Casimir’s grasp. Casimir takes out a black pouch and it sucks the monster in. “That should do it for today.” Casimir starts walking in the direction of civilization. Noise all around, people weaving in-between each other, other people selling goods in stalls. Casimir starts walking in the direction of a tall building. Inside are workers and people just getting off work. Casimir heads towards the elevators and hits “top floor” on his way up someone else comes in the elevator on a different floor. “Excuse me but can you hit floor three please?” The man talked with such nervousness in his voice, it made it seem like he hasn’t been here that long. “How long have you worked here?” The man asked side eyeing Casimir. “I don’t work here, just visiting family.” Casimir looks down at the man just as the man was looking up at him. “What’s your name?” the man says as he swiftly looks away. “Casimir.” He says just as the elevator ding to let Casimir know that he can get off. Just as the elevator doors closed, Casimir heard a loud voice behind him. “I’m Zev,” and he waved his hand. Casimir smiles and heads down the hallway to the farthest door. As he opens the doors he hears shouting, “I told you not to eat that, that’s for Casimir!” it was a boy with short black hair wearing a plain light green t-shirt and blue jeans. “Calm down Lucian, you can make more later.” Casimir says as he creeps up on the party. Lucian turned around, his lapis eyes shining as if seeing the best thing in his life. “Brother, you’re here.” Lucian ran into Casimir, only to be stopped by Asta, who had just come from outside the office. “Hello brother.” Casimir looked over to see the same lapis eyes and long black hair a Lucian. “Hello sage.” Casimir walks over and sits on the couch. “Hello brother, have you brought the pouch?” Casimir casts his shadow and take his hand to pull the pouch out, “Here it is.” Casimir hands Sage the pouch, Sage goes over to a desk that’s in the back of the room, she opens one of the drawers and empty’s the pouch. “Can we play Casimir?” Lucian looks at Casimir with puppy eyes, begging to play with his friend. Casimir looks at Lucian, “Fine, but we see Zev on our way out.” Lucian nods in agreement and heads for the office where Zev works. As Casimir and Lucian turn the corner, they see Zev at the printer trying to print copies of some work-related paper. Casimir sees that Zev is struggling to use the printer, so he walks up behind Zev to help. “Let me help,” Casimir says, startling Zev. Casimir stood close enough to Zev that he could smell his short brown hair, coconut. “Thank yo-“ Zev turned around to see it was the man he met in the elevator. “Oh, we meet again. Did you see your family?” Casimir helps print the papers, then looks at Zev, “Yes, I was just heading out.” “Oh, well I hope we meet again, goodbye.” Zev smiles and thanks Casimir for helping him then heads to do paperwork at his desk. “We saw him so let’s go.” Lucian whines and tugs at Casimir’s arm. Casimir walks out the building and heads to his apartment where him and Lucian will begin their game. “You remember the rules?” Casimir looked at Lucian, who nodded while preparing to play. Casimir stretches, getting his muscles ready to play. Lucian doesn’t wait for Casimir to finish as he tries to tackle his brother, but before he can get to him, Casimir takes to the shadows only to appear behind Lucian. Before Casimir could touch Lucian, Lucian could feel his brother’s presence and dodged to the right. Using his hand, he repelled his body towards Casimir to try to kick him. Casimir notices this out of the corner of his eye and disappears into Lucian’s shadow and comes out to push him forward through his own shadow. “Hey!” Lucian yells as he fly’s forward. “You used too much strength. Asta said no more hole in the wall!” Lucian yelled as he ran towards Casimir. Casimir’s eyes turn black, he looks out the window. “There is more this time of year,” Lucian says as he watches his brother jump out the big window. As Casimir jumps from roof to roof, he tries to find where Zev is. “Where are you?” Casimir uses the shadows to locate Zev. He is currently walking home from work. Casimir sees him from the rooftop that he’s on. Casimir watches Zev go home. Just before Zev gets home, there is a monster blocking his way. Casimir jumps down from where he was to behind Zev. Zev turns around thinking he hears something only to find nothing. As Zev turned back around the monster in front of him, Casimir had underestimated the monster’s movements. Zev’s eyes went wide seeing the monster. Just before the monster can do anything, Casimir comes from Zev’s shadow and eradicates it from existence. Zev looks up at Casimir, mumbles something, then proceeds to faint. Casimir catches Zev before he can fall to the ground. “Oh no, Asta is going to have my ass for this.” Casimir then picks Zev up bridal style and takes him to his apartment.
