Isabellas pov 1.40 am 6 rooms down. Sh*t I wont get all these rooms done by 4am. I'm cursed, not a miracle worker, This pack are good for nothing wastes of wolves. ' Calm down Isabella, We'll be leaving here soon I feel it.' Mina? You have been silent for months. Where have you been? You're my wolf, yet I thought you'd abandoned me. ' Stop being dramatic, I've been here but I am trying to deal with our curse, The goddess said I needed to go to the meadow. I'm sorry I was gone so long.' The meadow, where wolves are born and frolic with the goddess. Wolves only return when great change is due to take place. I expect no such changes to happen. For 23 years I've been in this hell hole of a pack and if I am here till I'm Killed I'll count myself lucky I'm not rouge. 'You're so negative, Isabella. Just wait and see. Now lets get these rooms done together my speed and your brains. We'll be fine' I could feel mina giggle and wink in my mind cheeky b*tch not that I'd have my wolf any other way. She was right though. Using her speed and strength in my tiny body, the rooms were clean and made by 3.55am. That's a new record for me. 60 rooms In less than four hours, I might have time for a nap or shower. Though after a quick sniff in the air I opted for the shower. I'm not allowed to use the packhouse showers, so as I entered the brisk spring air I ran straight to the tree line, and lept into the lake just on the other side. The water was dark and ice cold, But the moonlight reflected perfectly white on the black surface. I let myself float on the surface just admiring the sky, the slow change in the color as the sun began to creep over the horizon. I washed my hair and body in a natural soap, so that the life in the lake wouldn't be harmed, before emerging, drying my body and putting on my ' good 'uniform. The uniform specially designated for when we have guests. Slipping out from the trees, I slam straight into the rock-hard chest of yet another of my tormentors. Hello Beta, I spit. 'Good Morning Isabella, why are you out here in this very secluded spot.' The spot wasn't secluded at all, the packhouse was 50 feet away. What he meant by secluded was that no one would stop him doing whatever he was thinking. He started to drag his nose across my neck, Bile rose in my mouth, only a mate should be there. I clung to the tree behind me for strength, thankfully he backed away. ' You should be running on over to the other omegas now Isabella, Alpha grant has plenty of work for you to do.' With that he smirked and sauntered away, adjusting his manhood as he went. I quickly threw up the little contents in my stomach. The alpha and beta had been getting more and more dirty over the last weeks and I knew I would not be safe from either of them much longer. Minas words rang in my mind but I wasn't sure if I believed her or not. After safely disposing of my stomach, I ran to the back of the packhouse where the other omegas were lined up. All of them glared and bared their teeth as I arrived and I made sure to stay at least 10 feet from the end of the line, so I didn't get another beating from the omegas for being too close. Alpha Grant stood in front and quickly started barking orders like a drill sargent, splitting all the omegas into groups. I ended up in laundry by myself, ironing 100s of tablecloths. The laundry room was dank, dirty and damp. No different to my little cellar, but at least nobody bothered me down here. When all the tablecloths were ready, I took them too our community hall, It was rare that I was allowed in the hall, or anywhere in the packhouse for that matter. But special guests gave me special privileges, at least until they were gone. Then it was back to getting beatings. The community hall was vast and lined with great oak tables carved by our fore-fathers. Its large Praire barn roof had crystal chandeliers and when the moon came through the window at the end of the hall, the chandeliers would reflect the light like thousands of stars. Our Pack banners through the years hung on the sides with Alpha grants in the center of the window, his throne underneath. Each alpha had their own banner for the years they ruled and it was a tradition held by all packs. Once the tables were set crowds of people began to enter through the large ornate doors, butterflies built in my belly, almost like an impending doom was upon me. The feeling was ripped from me as an omega yanked my hair. 'Quit day dreaming, get a tray of Vol-au-Vents and start serving.' Grabbing the tray of small pastry and returning to the hall startled me in the span of those few moments, the hall had filled to the brim enough room for the few servers but not much else. The smell of cinnamon and cloves was thick in the air. I'd seen none around so I guessed it's in the food. Mingling through the crowd I feel Mina pacing in my mind. She keeps whispering they're here. Who's Here Mina whats wrong with you. 'Can't you feel it? The butterflies, the unease? We're being hunted, we're the pray.' she finished with a yip. The pray what are you on ab.... Looking up from the floor where I'm now sitting, I see the beta covered in the vol-au-vents I was holding. Sh*t I've done it now I am going to die tonight. The beta has been embarrassed in front of all these wolves. ' YOU LITTLE B*TCH, I'LL KILL YOU.' The hand swung and I flinched away, but the strike never came. Just an overwhelming sense of calm. Looking up a pair of maroon eyes and a pair of turquoise eyes are staring at me. Both of these men have their hand on the betas wrist. In unison, the word mate falls from all three of our lips.
