The night everything finally came to light. Emery stood frozen at the entrance of the mansion — the same place she had once entered with love, left with trauma, and sworn never to return to again. Damian didn’t move closer. He didn’t dare. He just stood a few feet away, hands shaking slightly, eyes refusing to leave her. “You can leave after this,” he said softly. “I won’t stop you. I just… I need you to hear the truth.” Her chest tightened. Gabriel placed a hand on her back, guiding her gently forward. “You’re safe,” he murmured. “Go.” Emery swallowed hard and stepped inside.
