Immediately after the brief meeting which Stella had with Gideon and two of his allies, she quickly called for an urgent meeting between her new committee members. In the meeting, she wanted to know what was happening. Because she believed that only her, won’t be able to know and oversee all that is currently happening within and outside the company. Thus, she wanted to build a good relationship with them. A relationship that would be built and executed based on trust and administrative purposes.
‘’I thank each and every one of you, for your undying cooperation. I have seen how devoted and dedicated you people have been, and I must say that I am proud and secure having worked with you people’’Stella said to them. They were all looking happy, and very professional. More professional than the main management bodies of the company.
Stella had picked them, from the grass root level of the company’s administration. A level where nobody would ever believe that such a professional committee would sprout out from. Thus, she knew what she was doing. She would never forget that she is still in a contract marriage relationship with Armstrong, her husband, who appointed her to lead the company, for some special reasons.
Meanwhile, the committee members all nodded their heads, anticipating all that she was saying. Ofcourse, they were not given a burden that they could never bear, since the job that was sent to them to accomplish, was being paid for. Stella made sure that she financed their investigative movement, with lots of funds, for them to get accurate information of their proposed findings. Thus, it was all successful.
‘’Before I continue with the main agenda of why I called you people, I would like to know what other workers and staff of this company are currently saying, or thinking about us’’Stella asked.
They all began to look at themselves. They knew what people in the company all thought about them. Especially about Stella. But all this while, they had kept silence, not wanting to tell her about it, until she demanded to know.
‘’Madam, the truth of the matter is that every worker and staff of this company have been watching you closely, to know the kind of policies you would be intending to achieve. You know, they don’t have a choice but to do the will you wished for, for the company. However, the management bodies of this same company are not happy with you. From what I know, they have been engaging in several secret meetings for the past few days now, and everything which they have been talking and centering on, have been based on you. Infact, they are in deep pain that you decided to use us, whom every worker sees as a low class individual of this company, to execute executive functions. They kept asking the questions of ‘Why us?’ and not other high profile workers?. But we kept silent because we had sworn an oath of secrecy, never to relate with others, the essence of our committee’’Reuben, one of the committee members, informed.
‘’All what he is saying is true, madam’’The rest agreed, as they informed her in group.
‘’I see. You all have done well. Let me put it to your notice that we are not doing anything secret here. But based on the nature of the committee, we were left with no better option, but to work in secrecy. I am very sure that many of you all witnessed my inauguration right?’’Stella asked.
‘’Yes, madam. We witnessed it’’They responded.
‘’Good. Atleast, you heard all that was spoken by my husband, the founder of this company. According to him, he has been noticing some fishy activities going on for some time now. Some huge amounts of money have been missing, and this has been happening constantly, without any trace. No one knows exactly how our money has been missing. According to him, he has visited the bank countless number of times because of this same issue, but all to no avail. I want you people to have it at the back of your minds, that my husband made me the head of his company, for this same reason, and thus, I have decided to make you people in response, as my allied officers, who would stand with me for this same course. Fear not, you all shall be paid handsomely for your efforts, just like how the company recently credited your accounts with the sum of $2000 each’’Stella said, giving them more hope and inspiration to work with her.
‘’Thus, the main purposes of inviting you all in this urgent meeting, is for us clarify the datas of information, which we have recently acquired. You know that this an administration work, and I wouldn’t want anyone to come out from nowhere tomorrow or any time soon, to arrest or sue me. Even if they would be arresting or sueing us, let it atleast be that we were right and accurate with our investigations. Based on this, I want you people to revisit those institutions once again, and cross check the results of your findings, as to the accuracy of those fake results and documents belonging to all the management officers. I have ordered the financial manager, to release funds for you all, for this second projects, and I am giving you five working days, to report back to me’’She ordered.
On the due dates, they all reported back to her, with the same information, which was even accompanied with the letter heading information of all the institutions which they visited for findings. After cross examination of all the information once again, Stella was stirred. She immediately sent letters to every member of the management bodies, ordering them to stop their executive functions, with immediate effect. Thus, she suspended them from their duties, but not from being workers of the company, until they could clarify themselves, based on their fake documents saga.
Still that day, she gave some members of her newly formed committee letters of appointment. With Clara, being the company's new assistant general manager. Reuben being the new financial manager, since he has been working closely with the finance department, and Esther being the new Human Resources Manager.
