“How did the auction go?” Julius asks me
“Good items.” I say back to him
“Just good? You didn’t get the item you wanted?” he asks me
“No. Someone else beat him to it.” Amber says back to him
“He is not able to answer on his own?” Julius asks Amber
“No I mean yes he can, I was just speaking my mind.” she says back to him

Something is wrong. I wonder what? I see Amber look at me and I just let it go. He’s my brother. Has she gotten so used to me always defending her? Do I always defend her?
“I heard a rumor that someone has returned.” Julius says to me
