Ashlynn's POV
I watched as Rush walked out of the house, and I'm not going to lie, the man scared the s**t out of me. You could take one look at him, and you knew he wasn't a good guy, but I also knew that he dropped everything to help Barrette and for that I will always be grateful. Barrette was right behind him, and he came and took Emerson out of my arms and placed her in her bassinet that was over at the other end of the couch, but then he surprised me when he took the bassinet and walked out of the room.
"Where are you going with her?"
"She is going to finish her nap in the bedroom. Turn the camera on," he yelled back. I grabbed my phone and brought up the app that we had yet to use, but I could see him enter the room talking to her. "You little girl are going to get a great nap
