Barrette's POV
I listened on the other end of the phone as Ashlynn screamed and Dan cussed and then the sound of the car crashing and silence. No one was making a sound.
"Can you hear me?" I screamed into the phone and got nothing.
"Justin, they wrecked, you need to send an ambulance to exit 105," I barked into the other line and then hung up on him and ran out of the office, ignoring Rita yelling at me.
"Ashlynn, can you hear me?" I yelled into the phone again as I got into my car.
"Barrette, son, all of this could have been avoided if you would have just married Lily like you were supposed to, but you didn't, and now it has come to this. I'm sorry I never wanted to hurt you, but this has to be done now."
