Ashlynn's POV
I got my cake as far as I could tonight and put it away in the fridge. I had to get it finished up tomorrow, and they are picking it up on Friday, which was part of the agreement of me doing this, because we had our concert Friday night, and I was so excited about it.
I went to turn around to tell Barrette I was done here, but he was standing right behind me and the look in his eyes told me exactly what he wanted to do next. I grabbed his tie around his neck and jerked him to me and kissed him. His hands locked around my waist, and he pulled me even closer to him. There was no space between us, but our clothes were in the way and that was the last thing I wanted. I needed to feel his naked body pressed against mine.
