"I'd like to thank you all for attending this event," Harold began, his voice echoing through the great hall.
"It's a pleasure to see that each one of you here today seeks to better the future of Medi-Tech and improve the health of the world in ways never before imagined." He spoke into the microphone, standing behind a podium on the stage. A large spotlight shone down on him, while the rest of the hall remained dimly lit, slightly concealing the faces of the investors and partners seated in the audience.
Ten directors of the company's board sat in the front row, receiving more exclusive treatment than the rest. Major investors who weren't part of the board sat behind them, followed by smaller stakeholders until the very last rows of the hall.
