MEETING THE KING

Carlos has been dutifully prepared for this kind of situations, this has been his lifelong mission all along this was just a petty matter to him. Carlos is a halfling that should definitely not be considered as his weakness, he is just as fast, strong as any other vampire so he should not be underestimated.
They lashed at Carlos together he held his dagger in one hand, his hand were folded tightly into a fist.
"You cannot fight all of us halfling.You are not as strong as us" one of the vampire said trying to dogde the dagger that was aimed at him.
" Why don't we find out then.I will make sure your death is a fast one. I'm tired of this game we have been playing all along" Carlos smiled....
"I wonder how Carlos is fairing,i hope he is not injured or worst dea..." Gabriel said worryingly before rudely interrupted by Barret.
" You have always been a worrisome vampire and do not jinx his mission with your cursed lips" he said and paused
" I know he is doing well afterall I trained him.Do not let me down Carlos" barret said
*The next morning*
Dexter bowed his head to Xander" you need to see this" he said.Xander followed him and wondered what could have happened
Dexter opened the door
"Their bodies looks like those that has been devoured by a wild beast.What could have happened here" dexter said
"I am indeed hearing heart beat.Did any human write this exam ,dexter,"xander said.Dexter was confused because he too was hearing a heartbeat but as far as he could recall all the vampires he saw had red eyes" No sir, i clearly remembered all Vampires had red eyes" dexter said.
Xander smiled and said" dexter you know this world has changed its not the same as centuries ago,we now have witches and halfling nothing is impossible but this is definitely not a witch i could differentiate a witch's heartbeat from a halfling this one is definitely a halfling"
After Carlos had finished them off he tore them apart in a way they would never be recognized,he pulled there heart from their chest,he became so thirsty his throat dried up,he thought he could survive the thirst it has been two good days he had not had blood and that is the maximum he could go,he searched everywhere for any remnant of blood he could see from the previous day party but he did not find any.
Carlos head started to spin afterall he was just a halfling and he fainted afterwards.
" Where am I" Carlos said trying to get down from the fancy bed he layed on until he saw blood he immediately took the blood and sucked the life out of it not until he heard a knock from the door,he looked up.
" You are summoned by the king" dexter said.Carlos dropped the blood and followed dexter to the King's chamber
"Come in" king adam said as he heard a knock.When they came in, the king said " you can go" referring to the girl that was rubbing his chest"
"Yes my lord"she replied
"My king this is the halfling we spoke about"dexter said bowing his head.The king inspected him and said" you quite remind me of someone."
