I had not been able to concentrate.
Ever since that night when I was almost caught by Asteria. The night were my wolf had beaten up a rogue.
I was so perturbed when I saw her, completely confused on why she had come back when I told her to leave.
I knew the answer to it but I kept denying it, all through my walk back home.
I almost shifted before her, it was an internal debate between me and Charlie. He was convinced Asteria would understand if she knew, seeing as she was my mate.
It was ridiculous that he would think that, despite her being my mate, she was still a mere mortal. So unless she was crazy in the head or she herself wasn't a human that once she saw a human wolf she would not be scared, instead I would receive a pet on my head.
