Asteria's POV.
I could not shake the feeling that something was wrong with Xavier.
It had been four days since our meeting in his office, four days since I was shocked to realize he was my doctor, four days since he consoled me and treated me at the same time, four days since I came to the realization of the depth of my feelings for Xavier.
Four days since I saw him.
I had not been able to sit still.
Each time I heard the sound of his door opening, I rushed out like a crazy person hoping to speak with him but he was always in a hurry, he was always dismissing me and promising to come to me when he comes back.
I'll wait for him well into the night but he doesn't show up.
I was getting tired of his lukewarm attitude but I wasn't complaining. I wasn't ready to give up yet.
