On a particularly sunny day in August, despite hating the beach and summer in general, Winter had willingly gone to the beach and taken Aether with him. He knew it would have been an odd request on his part, but he had overheard the mer-man talking to Luna, who had been visiting, about how he missed the ocean, and he might have considered going home.
